Project Overview
The project required adherence to the highest standards of brand consistency, visual clarity, and aesthetic appeal, ensuring the Cafista logo effectively communicates the brand’s personality and meets strategic design objectives.
The objective of this project was to craft a refreshed brand identity that reflects Cafista’s modern, innovative spirit. The goal was to develop a cohesive visual language that connects with customers, strengthens recognition, and enhances brand appeal.
Approach
Presenting logo directions to the marketing team
I began with a thorough exploration of Cafista’s vision, its place in the coffee industry, and the type of audience it aims to engage. This research provided the foundation for a brand strategy that highlights Cafista’s modern, innovative spirit while staying true to the cultural roots of coffee. Insights into customer expectations and market trends guided the creative direction, ensuring the brand resonates on both emotional and visual levels. To refine the identity, I conducted conceptual explorations around the core values of warmth, creativity, and sophistication. Collaborative feedback sessions helped shape the design direction, ensuring every element accurately represented Cafista’s personality and goals. The visual development began with the logo design, crafted to be minimal, versatile, and instantly recognizable. From there, I expanded into a cohesive system, including color palettes, typography, iconography, and imagery style, all designed to communicate clarity, recognition, and modern appeal. Finally, I built comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all applications from packaging to digital platforms giving Cafista a polished, professional, and scalable identity.
The challenge of building a brand identity for Cafista lay in striking the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. Coffee as a product carries deep cultural roots, yet Cafista’s vision was to stand out as a modern, forward-looking brand. To achieve this, my approach combined strategic storytelling with creative design exploration. I began by researching both global coffee trends and consumer expectations, identifying what makes coffee culture resonate with today’s audience. From there, I translated those insights into a visual language that is minimal, versatile, and scalable across different mediums. The logo and supporting design system were carefully crafted to embody Cafista’s warmth, energy, and contemporary spirit. Typography, color palettes, and visual elements were chosen to communicate clarity and recognition while leaving space for creativity in future campaigns. This approach ensured that Cafista’s new identity would not only stand out in the competitive coffee industry but also endure as a memorable, adaptable, and emotionally resonant brand.

My design process was a thoughtful balance of creativity, research, and collaboration, with each stage carefully shaped to deliver a modern, cohesive, and impactful brand identity for Cafista.
The process began with creating detailed mood boards and visual explorations to capture Cafista’s modern and innovative spirit. This was followed by the development of logo concepts, where feedback was incorporated to refine and align the designs with the brand’s personality and objectives. Throughout the project, continuous communication and collaboration were key. This iterative cycle of design and feedback ensured the final Cafista identity reflected both creativity and strategic intent. Finally, comprehensive brand guidelines were crafted to provide clear direction on applying the new identity consistently across packaging, digital, and print touchpoints, strengthening recognition and appeal.
